Thanks for all the replies, they are sending her passport back and as long as she's back in uk to get it back to them before visa expires it's all good.

Thank you very much for your quick response, do you know if she needs permission to leave as she is currently in the process of the application or because her visa is still valid and has not expired can she just go?

Hi My wife is currently in the process of our flr(m) application process and her brother has passed away in Canada.
