You are a child under 18 and: Selected ->You were born outside the UK -Your parent is British by descent and lived in the UK or a British Overseas ...

Re: Which form to fill for ILR from Tier-2 dependant when spouse is now British Citizen

I hope this doesn’t violate board rules to put a follow up question.

Would I have to wait for a year after ILR to apply for Naturalisation even when my spouse is already British citizen or can I apply for naturalisation straight after ILR?

Many thanks.

The rule, no longer relevant and not quite how you have stated it, was only applicable to main tier 2 visas holders.
Thank you so much CR001.
Much appreciate it.

Re: Tier-2 Dependant Absences

Do 90 consecutive days absences are also counted for Tier-2 Dependants? There is NO absence limit of '90 days' at all. Also NO absence limit for tier 2 dependent visas issued BEFORE 11th January 2018. There is ONLY the 180 days for visas issued AFTER 11th January 2018. If you really did search and ...

Re: T2 General ILR queries and document checklist

1. Yes, you need to enter the date of your first entry to the country in the category based on to which led you to ILR. So the date your T2 was granted in this scenario. - You can apply within 28 days of when your 5 years would be completed, on or after 1st of Aug will be OK. - You need to record ...

Re: ILR Tier 2 application

1. You don't need to submit anything extra than what is asked on the checklist. 2. You don't need any template for consent, consent form will be generated when you submit your application. You and your wife (if you have joint account) will have to sign it. 3. You should take all your and your wife's ...

Re: Tier-2 to ILR application SET (O)

Surprisingly (not really) that your increases takes you to exactly the ILR requirement!! That is my fear as well but even then if they raise it to 35900 or 36000 or even 36500 this would still be seen with same perspective. Large raise, why raise to only meet minimum threshold. There can't be any ...
