Re: letter from employer

1. It is ok to provide just one letter. 2. If the bank cannot stamp the statements there should be a sign there that the statement was printed in the bank branch. Home Office might accept it if your friend will clarify it in a cover letter. Alternatively, and safer way - is to visit few different ...

Re: Studying with no CSI after over 5 years working in UK

Your husband can use any 5 consequent years between 2006 and 2016 to qualify for Permanent residence. Just be aware of Worker Registration Scheme https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worker_Registration_Scheme if he is from one of A8 countries. Otherwise you can include him in your application as dependant ...

Re: PR EU + non EEA - passport validity

1. Start filling the online form and you will see if you can apply online depending on questions there and your answers. 2. To be on a safe side, apply for a new passport first to avoid delays and reapplication cost, although I did not see the requirement that passport has to be valid for some time ...

Re: Just a general question- When do they return passports?

The Average is an illusive number - it can be anything up to 6 months and sometimes longer if the case is complicated. You can always request your passport back (if you are EEA or EU citizen) here https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outreach/Return_of_Documents.ofml. Just make sure you do not withdraw ...

Re: EEA PR Application - Evidence of Employment

The rule of thumb is to supply as many documents as possible to give less chances to Home Office to refuse the application. The bank will be more than happy to issue statements for required period (may be they will charge a fee for this) and the employer can always issue the duplicate payslips for ...

Re: Residence Card (RC) Application Withdrawing

There is no 100% guarantee as it depends on many factors - how quickly Home Office will send the passport and supporting documents back, postal services speed etc, therefore there is no point to risk it buying tickets before you receive your passport back.

Re: Wrong Name on Money Transfer Receipts Spouse visa

If there is a first name only in her passport and the same first name is in the transfer receipts there should not be a problem. If it is completely different name, she has to submit a deed poll for change of name together with her application.

Re: need help...passport has wrong date of birth

I would contact the authorities and explain the situation and apply for a passport replacement. This might delay your husband's application initially, but it will save you time and money and nerves in a long run.

Re: Query on Visa fee for PBS dependant child born in UK

I think it depends on your visa length and has nothing to do with your dependant visa's length. Please read here https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-general/overview. It says that: How much you pay for a Tier 2 (General) visa depends on your situation, where you are and how you apply - and than there are ...

Try this https://www.gov.uk/immigration-asylum-t ... ide-the-uk. I would go for administrative review.
