Sorry John I didnt answer your question properly :oops: . The visa has his name and then mine as spouse. It does say no recourse to public funds then it has an expiry date of two years. Just one thing tho its valid longer than the usual 6months is that correct. Congratulations on the visa, but in answer to your question, no I do not think it is correct. Fiance(e) visas are specifically for 6 months. Without quoting any names, can you post exactly what is printed on the visa ...

Yes he wont be working when he gets here until after we are married. I didnt have enough savings to put money down for a flat and I didnt want to go into my overdraft. Although I earn £24,000 a year. It was easier to take out a loan and then make repayments.

If he is to make the application what evidence would we have to show that we have meet in person. Would I need to send him my ticket confirmation? Its not very clear the type of evidence that want.
