Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Alhamdullilah, my wife's visa has been granted on a 5 year route. Check the Pakistan Timelines thread for my full timeline. Basically it was 60 days from biometrics. I applied non-priority.

I'm so happy. Can't wait for her to get here. Don't lose hope!!!

Spouse visa approved but on 10 year route not 5 year route

Hi

My wife's visa has been approved and on the letter of approval it states she is on the 10 year route but can switch to the 5 year route if eligible. Can someone explain this to me why HO put her on the 10 year route instead of 5? And how we can apply for the 5 year route?

I have heard from a relative who applied in May priority that got a rejection. Apparently no reason was given in the rejection letter but I've asked for more info.

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Is the Online tracker working for Non-eu cases after a decision has been made? I read that they have closed the service down for non-eu cases so that it will not show even if the case decision has been made?

Spouse visa approval where sponsor's passport has not been certified

Hi

Just received my documents back from the home office and realised my solicitor did not certify my passport as sponsor to the applicant. I am really worried now. Can anyone let me know if they are aware of a visa being approved where the sponsor's passport has not been certified????

Re: Sick leave while awaiting a spouse visa decision

Hi

If you're getting paid then there is no problem at all. I thought you may be on reduced wages for the three weeks which may take you under the threshold.

Go ahead and have the operation.

Re: Sick leave while awaiting a spouse visa decision

If I were you the only concern I would have is that if the visa is rejected and you resubmit, then you would have to make 6 months of earnings over £18600 from the point of resubmission. However, if you would automatically appeal then this would not really be a concern. Is it a serious reason why ...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

FYI I'm aware of several people who applied from Mirpur Pakistan who were granted visas within 3 months. I also know of one person who applied in May 2017 and paid priority and is still waiting. So if you have recently applied and you are reading this, don't think that you will definitely have to ...

Re: 2nd Nikah before getting decree absolute from first wife

You were legally married to your first spouse until you have received your decree absolute. Therefore you cannot legally marry prior to receiving your decree absolute.

Maybe someone will be able to advise you of a route.
