FOI response

Hi all, I requested this info last month and received a reply after I got my approval, but am posting it here in case it is useful to anyone: 1. What is the average number of ILR applications (SETO, SETM, etc) submitted in person by PEO per week in 2012? I can advise that the average number received ...

The fax number in my post is the one I used. UKBA gave it to me when I called to ask if my biometrics letter had been sent out (I forgot to post that in my timeline. I called to ask about my letter and they said it had just been sent out, and I could fax that number to expedite). I think it's for ...

Expediting and MP intervention helps

Hi all, My application has been approved, and I am beyond relieved. So excited that I meant to post in here but accidentally hit "new thread" instead of "post reply" so it's here http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=109564&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= Please read this if ...

Anyone successfully expedited an application?

Hi, when I called to check on where my biometrics letter was last month and mentioned I was anxious due to the need to travel later this summer, they gave me a fax number and said I could fax a request to have my application (SET (O)) expedited after I did my biometrics. I did that, but heard ...

I put my credit card number down. I am no expert, only going by what I have happened to see people comment on in terms of their application timelines, but it seemed like people usually had the money taken within a few days of receipt. However you might have seen the news about the PEO IT Issues so ...

Hi, I didn't post a question in this thread. My permit started 1 June 2007 and I arrived on the 2nd, so it's only a one day difference for me. I was just letting the original poster know that when I called UKBA they said you can count the 5 years - 28 days from the entry clearance, not the day you ...

I just posted a thread about this - does one need to show P60s for the past 5 years? I've seen people list this in their documents, but can't see in the application for Tier 1 General that they are required. I have everything else ready so will go to the post office in the next 2 hours if I don't ...

I called recently and they said if your entry clearance (visa start date) is within 3 months of when you arrived you can apply 28 days before the start of the visa.

Do I need 5 years of P60s for ILR on Tier 1 General?

Hi, I asked this a few weeks ago along with another question and got no response on this question. Do I need P60s for the past 5 years to go along with SETO Tier 1 General for ILR? Or is bank statements and payslips for the past 12 months all I need? The application doesn't say anything about ...

Hi, Thanks for all the replies. I just wanted to add that UKBA replied to an email I sent and said I can post my ILR application now, that the date of the DECISION needs to be after 5 years-28 days, not the date of when I post the application. Also Master_Blaster, 8-12 weeks would be great... it ...

Just to note on this - 0191 2037178 doesn't work, 0191 213 5000 the person said I had to submit a letter in writing asking, but I called 0845 3000 627 just now and they said they'll send out a letter today.

Hi Master Blaster, But the UKBA site clearly says "If you send your application form and application fee by post, the date of application is the date of posting. This is decided by the postmark. If the postmark is illegible or missing, the date of postage is taken as being at least 1 day before it ...

Hi again Vinny, I don't see how I can post an ILR application before my 5 years-28 days as there's this in the guidance "Please do not send us your application more than 28 days before the end of your 2-year qualifying period. If you do, we may refuse your application and we will not refund the fee ...

Hi Vinny, Are you saying that I should send in an ILR postal application before my visa expires, but it's ok to do so before my 28 days are up? Is it just that they can't approve it until less than 28 days until my 5 years, or that I can't send off the application until the 28 days. If the former ...

Visa expires 4 days before I'm eligible for ILR appt?

I posted a message yesterday here http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?p=627799#627799 asking a question about my applications timings, but am posting a new message because now I have a bigger issue that I need to make more clear in the subject. Hm, thanks, and hope some other people can comment! Seems a bit crazy to need a one month extension and why didn't they just make it expire at my 5 year date to begin with? I don't remember what the policy was in 2009 when I renewed but the website for Tier 1 currently just says you should apply "at ...

Hi Linkers, But my visa expires 1 May 2012. Surely I need to have an appointment before my visa expires?! If I wait until the 4th it will have expired. I did ask the question as I know the guidance, so was wondering if anyone had been advised on what to do in this situation. My appointment is booked ...
