Thanks, good idea an i'm thinking on it. i don't have a degree so a dip ed is out an i know there're th other options for qualifications (as well as th no need if y cluey) but i'd like to cover all bases before jumping into something like that. Thanks for your replies - great grandparents, yes but documentation is impossible unless there are immigration documents available from births, deaths and marriages or some other department...? The only relative I can be sure of is great grandfather who was from Poland but as I've already mentioned ...

I'm 36 in June and have no relatives. I'm confident I'm going to have a difficult time and it may well be that it's near impossible but I want to exhaust all avenues and this seems a good place to get some direction.
