Hi,
Suppose that I have a HSMP visa following EC clearance. How long do I need to stay in UK before my dependent parent can apply for a family visitor visa? Does anyone have any idea on this?

How to get my original documents back : URGENT

Hello People, I had sent a mail to HSMP team requesting them to return my documents since my application is taking a hell lot of time. My documents were received on July 1, '07. To that the team replies that it takes 5-14 weeks, and unless I have a proof of urgency my documents would be withheld. Is ...

Update on my case

Hi All, I thought it'd be good to share my case update thus far and see if anyone could provide any insights. My docs were received by H.O. on July 1 and the last I called them a week back I was told that the case-worker is verifying a few details and waiting for the necessary information. He'd get ...

Earnings clarification for ~J~

I had thought of this. The Application reached HO on July 1. The previous 15 months are: Apr 2006 -- Mar 2007 (12) + Apr 2007 -- Jun 2007 (3). You cannot be paid July's salary till July end. Very clearly I am within the 15 month time frame. I on purpose did this since the Apr 06 -- Mar 07 is the ...

Documents different in 2nd attempt at HSMP than first

Hello Everyone, My 2nd attempt at HSMP is kind of stalled right now, case worker sitting on the file for 2 weeks+ now. I have this basic question for you all: should the evidence presented in the 2nd attempt be the same as in the 1st attempt and more or could it be reasonably different? In my first ...

12/15 month problem

Hello All, My HSMP application was received by H.O. on July 1. It should have reached them earlier but IndiaPost messed it up by a week. My earnings period was between April 1, 06 -- March 31, 07. That works well since its within the limits of the 12/15 month rule. The problem is that I called up H ...

Has anyone ever tried bringing their parents as the dependants of a HSMP visa holder? How complicated (if at all possible) is this? What about getting a visitor's visa for them -- is the HSMP holder allowed to sponsor and if yes, what is the minimum time he/she has to be in UK to qualify for ...
