thank you so much for your reply. Yes I should have used NDRS. My travel plan is in November but I begin to get panicked now as it's already been a while. Is there anyway I can check the status of my application ? I know I can check with them after six months but that's too long... thanks I used MN1 ...

Hi, I have got two questions ? I used MN1 form to register my children's nationality back on 09 August so I sent in my BRP. But I haven't heard back from them so I still don't have my BRP and can't travel. Is there anyway I can get my BRP back ? My second question is that do I need to wait until my ...

Hi from what I read it seems I need to send in my children's passports and BRP during the application process, then my children don't have any documents to travel until they receive their new British passports ? Is this correct ?

Hi, my child is on T2 dependent visa until 21/07/2018. Can she apply for MN1 in Jan 2018 then travel abroad and come back in July 2018 ? after she comes back, she apply for a british passport ? Is this OK ?

unfortunately my country doesn't accept dual citizenship.
I have heard that children can only apply for ILR when both parents have ILR, is this correct ?

yes, I prefer ILR over UK citizenship. I might go back to my home country in future so would like my children to keep my citizenship

ILR for children under 18

Hi, my children are born in the UK when my wife and I are both on Tier 2 visa. Now I have ILR, my wife still has Tier 2 visa. Can my children apply for ILR instead of nationality ?
