Re: IHS partial refund after ILR

Hi sabm84, Not sure why you are trying to apply for your husbands visa now as his PBS dependent visa is valid until 2019. I'm exactly in similar situation. I'm ILR but my wife is Tier 2 dependent or PBS dependent whichever way your want to call it. She extended her PBS dependent in Dec'17/Jan'18 ...

Re: IHS partial refund after ILR

Some members have put a date 3 years ahead to get the IHS to calculate correctly. So is it a valid practice to do so? Original expiry date is 25 feb 2019. If we apply now, can we put expiry date as 25 feb 2021?? Also in the main application form its asking for all my tier 2 general visa details ...

Re: IHS partial refund after ILR

You can apply for the PBS dependent visa at any point if you meet the requirements. As mentioned, it is unlikely you will get '£200 back' if you choose to apply early for an extension. I am trying to pay health surcharge for my husband. It is calculating £1400 when we mention my ILR expiry date. If ...

Re: IHS partial refund after ILR

My son is born in uk.

I am reading the proposed ihs surchange increase that can go upto £400 a year. If thats the case, is it not worth applying for pbs dependent extension asap and we can get £200 back for 2018. Since we will be paying £600 for 3 years anyway. Please correct me if i am wrong?
