Hello

My mother in law has got a right of abode visa (british citizenship by descent) in her foreign passport. She obtained this last year in pakistan. She is now in the UK. Thw question is can she apply for a british passport? If not what is the procedure?

thanx for the response, what about regard to my children under 18. Does the
"Exceptional compassionate circumstances" apply? This is where i am confused know.

Finally I send them money on a monthly basis, so in that case, yes they are finacially dependant on me.
