Common referee for me and my wife

Hi,
I am planning to use the same professional referee who works as a underwriter in a building society for me and my wife .
Is this allowed? I am submitting the application at the same time hence the confusion.
A quick response will be really appreciated.

Re: Queries on SET (O) Tier 2 General (5 years) and dependent wife

Should I then mention India Consulate General of India in the answer box?
