We have been together for less than a year, however live together with shared lease, joint accounts, bills etc.

I am about to start Year 3 of my ancestry visa.
My partner is American and his visa will be ending soon. I am wanting to know how difficult it is to add him as a dependent to my ancestry visa while we live in the UK and if he would still be able to work.
