Fiancé Visa

Hi mods :D ,
I want to bring my fiance to the UK and have a small wedding shortly after.
Currently, I am on the final extension of my Entrepreneur Visa and will have my ILR in <2years!

Is my status considered settled or can I not use the Fiancé Visa route until I have my ILR?

Thanks in advance!

Director Furloghed?

Hi moderators, Even with the corona crisis, I still managed to pay my staff for the last 2months since I didn't want to delay my visa extension process (meaning I didn't want to opt-in for the temporary extensin by furloughing my employees). However, I did furlough myself(Director) for that time ...

Re: Tier 1 entrepreneur visa enquiry

Thanks, just saw it.
But it also says for the furloughed time you can get a further extension of the current visa (temporary extension) if the employees don't cover 12 months of the job requirement

*** COVID19 Tier 1E impact and Government support *** Discuss here ONLY

Hi Moderators, Most businesses from next week looks to shut down temporarily (mine including).  Would I be able to claim 80% of wages for my employees and put in the remaining 20% from now on? Re: Entrepreneur Extension

You do not report anything. The form will ask you about the hourly rate of your workers. They use that to work out how many hours they worked and whether you paid them correctly (No of weeks worked * 30 * hourly rate) >= (Total salary paid) Thanks for the prompt reply Zimba. Two things: 1) I am ...

Re: Entrepreneur Extension

Not necessarily because any hours worked for more than 30 per week is ignored. This is why you should only count the weeks worked and ignore the months. How many weeks did they work which was at least 30 hours per week ? As long as they have 52 weeks you should be fine. Hi Zimba, I will extend one ...

Re: Entrepreneur Extension

Hi Zimba,
The 1 week off was unpaid. In that given 4-week month he/she worked 120 hours in total.
The payslip doesn't show weeks, just the units of hours which is 120 for that month.

Is this fine? :?

From my understanding: Only certain subjects will require you to get an ATAS certificate, not all.

Investment through share capital

Hi everyone,
The money I invested was through share capital where 1 share was valued at £1 so hence the £50,000 investment.
From this forum, I can see most people opt for Directors Loan. Is it okay for me to invest this way? Am I at a disadvantage here?

Entrepreneur Visa Number of days

I just calculated my visa length and it was: 2 years 11 months and 11 days.

Does it looks correct?

I switched from the graduate entrepreneur visa.

Thanks
