Multiple Passport Travel

Hi, Can anyone help me? I have two passports and I'm entitled to a third. I am wondering if anyone knows about or has experience with the following example situation. So for example, Brazil has a 90 day stay limit on a tourist visa. Could I enter on passport A, stay for 90 days then leave on the ...

Won't they see the stamp of refusal in her passport when applying for a visa and take that into consideration?

The application form only asks if you have been refused entry to China or if you have been denied a visa for China but not anywhere else.

Visa denial.

Hi, I'm back! I have a friend from the US who was denied a visitors visa to the UK after being refused entry (the reason being that she said she was going to work, as well as not having enough funds and not having enough ties to the US.) My question is, will she have any problem in applying for a ...

Working in the US

hi,
I have friends from Australia who came to the UK and worked in restaurants and shops etc. I would like to know how they were allowed to do this and if the same applies for UK citizens to go to America without a work Visa.
Thanks

How long to wait?

Hi, I am from the UK and my girlfriend from the US was refused entry due to her saying she would be working. She was then refused a visitors visa as they thought she would not come purely as a visitor and did not have enough ties to the US. I was wondering how long would it be wise for her to ...

Move to the US?

Hi I am from the UK and have a girlfriend in the US. She was recently refused entry to the UK, due to the fact that she said she was going to work (which is obviously not allowed as a tourist) and was refused a visitors visa as they felt she did not have enough ties to the US. All I want at the ...

So what do you think are the chances of her getting a visa? I understand that there are a lot of aspects to it, and each application is individual.

You better believe it. People are permanently barred from entering countries all the time.

I'm not sure what the number was, but I think don't think that much can be done, as the rules are clearly stated on the home office's website, and I presume it is your responsibility to understand them properly.

Yes, she was maybe a bit naive to say that, maybe it was just the moment, but she was also told by a 1900 number? that she was able to work. I know that that was her fault, as she went on the basis of someone telling her something. Not reading the laws.

yes i understand that. So reapplying soon would almost not work anyway. And she just needs to try and gather stronger evidence to make them think she will be returning.

Yes that is what I thought. Now we just have to try and figure out a way of convincing them to believe her and the truth. I am unsure of how to go about this.

It just seems ridiculous that we are such close allies, yet americans are one of the most likely to get bounced and we let so many others in so easily. But that is a whole new debate.

Well yes, I agree. The frustrating thing is that all along, she has been honest and does only want to come and visit and perhaps look for a shool or a job that will sponsor her stay in the future. What sort of strong ties are you referring to?

Because when she came on her passport, she told them that she would be working via the internet (employed by and american). She was given false information by a number she called. So she was refused entry and told to apply for a visa.

ok thanks she did show some, do you think it would help if she applied to a school or college, as she was going to do this anyway. She also works online, so I think they thought that she would easily be able to support herself while in the UK via internet work. Do you think if she got a job, ie in a ...
