IHS refund or re-use

Hi, I had applied 5 year visa for my child (my T2 general visa expires in 2024) and paid IHS accordingly for 5 years = 2000 GBP. However, the visa awarded to my child was only for 2 months owing to my wife's visa expiring in Dec 2019 (she also holds a T2 General visa). My wife has applied for her ...

Tier 2 general visa - extension

I have a tier 2 general visa that expires on 5th Dec 2019. I have applied for an extension yesterday but the normal processing time seems to be 8 weeks. Can I be in UK till the decision is made? Also can I continue working (same company, same job) until the decision is made?

Re: Child care benefits on Tier 2 general visa

Thanks for sharing the document.
So basically there is no option to claim tax credit for the daycare expense - is that correct?

Child care benefits on Tier 2 general visa

Hi,

I am on Tier 2 general visa and the BRP mentions - No Public Funds.
Does this mean I cannot claim child care benefits?
My daughter is currently 7.5 months and we were under impression of getting tax credits for daycare expenses.
Please advise.

Thanks!

Re: Tier 2 general visa - company takeover

She is planning to return by 1st week of Nov giving her a month's time before her current visa expires. Is that sufficient time?

Re: Tier 2 general visa - company takeover

Thanks for the response.

Her current visa expires Dec 2019.
As she is currently on vacation in India, presume she can travel back to UK using her existing visa even if the employer has changed and she has a new unrestricted CoS from her new employer.
Am I correct?

Thanks for the response.

Can I continue to work in UK while she is away from UK, so long the visa is valid?
