They gave me a stamp 3 for 6 months.

Yes I've received a temporary stamp for 6 months but it doesn't allow me to work but does allow me to reside and travel which is good news as I'll be going home for Xmas. Wondering what are the most common reasons for refusal. I just want to make sure all bases are covered.
