Adequate Maintenance figure

Hi I'm in process of doing my husband's next 2.5 years Visa and I'm struggling with Adequate Maintenance figure. I understand part A. I get PIP both rates but since the motability paid for my car I assume I do not include that. I also have saving over 6 months. Part B is my council tax I get it ...

It's part C that is confusing me. Is it just the standard couple rate or do I have to add in extra allowances such as Disabled rate?

PIP & ESA

Hi My partner is due his 2nd Spouse Visa and he is in the UK. I'm in receipt of PIP & ESA (no change since my first application). I just have a few questions on the minimum income threshold. Is ESA Contribution taken into account for Income? I have included my PIP letter and bank statement. I assume ...

Travel and BRP

Hi

My husband has BRP which ends on the 31/03/2022. I was intending on applying for his 2nd 28 days before that one expires.

I'm struggling to find the answer but is it correct we cannot leave the UK for a holiday within the 3 month period before the BRP expires?

Thanks

Re: Sorry another UC issue

Thanks for replying.

So having read that I'm happy. Just worried about the next Visa but I have done the correct process advising them re the two of us. As soon as I obtained a marriage visa and she moved to the UK I told the council and correctly stopped my single person discount.

Re: Sorry another UC issue

Thanks for the replies. I know what UC credit is etc. I did point out that I put in my claim that he doesn't have access to public funds. I was clear on that front so disappointed that some replies seen to implie he should be working and won't have access to funds. I'm disabled and he looks after me ...

Sorry another UC issue

Hi I have read the sticky regarding UC. My partner is on a 2.5 year visa and has no recourse to public funds. I followed the guidelines and set up two UC accounts. I made it 100% clear in the free notes that my partner is not eligible. This was followed up and reconfirmed on the phone. She said she ...

Re: Marriage and Settlement Visa Help

Plus the form isn't the best, it asks what countries she has lived in and visited but when you click on it is says lived in only, she has been lots of holidays do I put that in as per the first screen

Re: Marriage and Settlement Visa Help

No problem, tbh I have saved the money and fully prepared to pay it.

But just another quick question, cohabiting, the lawyer said the form is just a standard template and explain in a letter our circumstances, is that the best way to do it?

Re: Marriage and Settlement Visa Help

I was stupid it was the £1500 visa but to be clear, fee waiver is out of the question as we are going down the 2.5 year route (which is the only route I can go down)

thanks
