Hi guys, just to update you. i sent an email to agent/consultant,who advertised at gumtreet.com this what he replied....FYI... We have seen your case and we can advise you on the ILR application. The reason you cannot claim for ILR at the momet is you had to seek fresh entry clearance in Dec2005 ...

Thanks olisun.
Consultant means , they just advertise xxx consultants. my good/bad luck, i spoke to him. But not sure , how far they know the rules.

I hope that try would not put me in any problem with my current permit.

If i was sure how long a Person can stay once he/she lost the job, i would not have Posted my case here.you would be better off asking seniors here.i am sorry i could not help you in this case

(HO also sent a letter that I don’t have to leave the country based on the decision and can stay until my first work permit expiry date-i.e Oct 05)

Finally before my visa was expired & told that I had to apply for work permit as i didnt want to stay here. Thanks for your reply.

I was only out of the country for 2 months.
No they didnt overlap.

First one was oct02 to oct05.

second one was applied in sep05 and but approved in oct05 to 2010.
