Re: Passport Validity

Thank you CR001. You have been so helpful in answering my many questions :D . My sponsor's company has supplied a solicitor so I shouldn't be so concerned but we are on a tight deadline so I have wanted to make sure we aren't missing anything that can delay it further.

Passport Validity

Hi, my passport expires in April 2020 but I will be applying for a tier 2 dependent visa this month (Jan 2019). Will my passport visa expiration be an issue for my application? The solicitor we are using has made it sound like it isn't but I just want to be sure as I've read online my passport needs ...

Re: Can I apply for tier 4 visa if rejected from tier 2 partner visa?

Thank you SamTiger. @Sah10406 - I am concerned about getting approved for the Tier 2 dependent visa because as someone coming from the US where civil partnership takes 10 years, I am surprised living with my girlfriend for 2-3 years grants us these privileges in the UK. I do intend on getting ...

Can I apply for tier 4 visa if rejected from tier 2 partner visa?

Hi, I'm just wondering if it is possible to apply for a tier 4 student visa if I don't receive a tier 2 partner visa that I am applying for? I already have acceptance into a postgraduate program that can sponsor a tier 4 visa. My long-time girlfriend is the tier 2 holder. Also, would I have to wait ...

Re: Switch tier 2 dependent visa to tier 4 student visa

Thank you so much sah10406, this is really helpful! Any idea how long it would take for me to get a Tier 4 visa in the US? This might be something for me to work out with the school ahead of time to make sure there isn't an issue but any insight would be very much appreciated. I could see it ...

Re: Chances of getting Tier 2 dependent Visa

Hi CR001 - appreciate all your help! True - I did say that, however I thought it would be best to keep the topics separate as they are in regards to different visas. Regarding the visa switch post, I assumed I would get the tier 2 dependent visa. But I wanted to get everyone's thoughts on my chances ...

Chances of getting Tier 2 dependent Visa

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help provide guidance on my chances of getting a tier 2 dependent visa. The main applicant is my long-time girlfriend of 4.5 years who received a tier 2 ICT visa for 5 years. We have lived together for 3 years. We have apartment leases and apartment insurance ...

Switch tier 2 dependent visa to tier 4 student visa

Hi, I am currently on a Tier 2 dependent visa for the next 2 years. The main Tier 2 holder is my wife who has a Tier 2 ICT visa. I plan on enrolling in an MBA program for the 2019/20 intake. I believe I can study on a tier 2 dependent visa (if I am mistaken please let me know). But what I am worried ...
