Hello, I'm applying for ILR on the 5 year route. I was previously on a tier 5 visa before being granted a tier 2. My tier 5 visa was still valid when I was granted my tier 2, and so I entered the UK 2 days before my Tier 2 visa started. Will this affect my application? Date entered - 16/12/2013 ...

Sorry one more question - what about a day trip outside of the UK? The system doesn't seem to recognise this and asks me to enter in an end date that's after the start date. The number of absence is only counted between the exit and entry dates. Exit date and entry date itself is not counted ...
