Re: combination route FLR FP & FLR M for 10 YEAR PARTNER ROUTE for ILR

Well spotted. I guess this is what happens when they were tasked with simplifying the rules, but failing miserably? Part 9 applies to other Parts (and Appendixes) when these referenced Part 9. They may have forgotten to add Appendix Long Residence in 9.1.2. when they recently created Appendix Long R...

Re: BRP expired before ILR eligibility, what are the options now?

As they are overstayers , E-LTRP.2.2. prevents them from applying for FLR(M) directly. They may apply for FLR(FP) , subject to EX.1. This puts them on the 10-year route. After being granted leave on FLR(FP), they may switch to FLR(M), subject to satisfying the financial and other requirements. The 5...

Re: BRP expired before ILR eligibility, what are the options now?

Can you please advise on how complex it is to get a family visa from inside the UK in these circumstances? And why is the same route different for years to get ILR? Thanks The in-country family route is 10 years, due to the overstay. However, they may switch onto the 5-year family route as soon as ...

Gosh. That’s harsh.

If they don’t reconsider, then you would have to switch to some eligible route, like Skilled worker, before your leave expires.

Absolutely no. Don’t move!! They should never have asked you to move before applying for ILR with mother, as some of its requirements are: 298 (iii) is not leading an independent life , is unmarried, and has not formed an independent family unit; and (iv) can, and will, be accommodated adequately by...

1- If you are the claimant, then probably yes . 2- UK born child is entitled to register . 3- If you claim what you are entitled to claim in your own right, then this should have no impact on other applications. 4- Doubtful . 5- Check with DWP . Always disclose your family’s full circumstances truth...

Who knows? Why not? For statistical purposes? To improve their out-of-country applications? I suspect that any reasons you give may be valid. Moreover, as their Government’s website had advised it, I doubt that applying in the UK is a ground for refusing a British child. If you don’t mind me asking,...
