Re: Clarification regarding higher education background for British Citizenship Application

Your academic performance is completely irrelevant for this application.

No need to explain anything. No need to overthink this either.

This is the last thing you need to worry about.

Settled, settlement and ILR mean the same, no issues with having any of those on the eVisa status.

Re: Evisa status confusion.

I don't think UKVI use different names for ILR depending on the visa you had. Others might comment on this. Being "settled" means that you have ILR (or settlement). They use all these words interchangeably. The word they use on the eVisa portal shouldn't be a concern as long as the status ...

Re: Proof of Living in the UK

Proof of living in the UK is the passport(s) and stamped pages for the qualifying period. Nothing else is required.

PS: keep all the citizenship questions in one single post, no need to open a new one for every single question.

Re: ILR eligibility from Skilled worker+global talent (UKRI) visa

You're eligible for ILR under the GT route on your first work visa approval date + 3 years - 28 days. Your other post suggests that you already knew this.

The date you started working is less relevant.

For someone else to pay they need to access your application and then be transferred to the payment portal. If you don't want the employer to do this, the only way is completing yourself everything and then they reimburse the money - provided they offer this option (some companies in the UK do ...

1. Yes, the letter from Ecctis confirming that the qualification meets the required standard and was taught in English can be used.

2. Your wife continues as Global Talent dependant until she is eligible for ILR. Further visa renewals are done as GT dependant, there is no such thing as ILR dependant.

Re: skilled worker visa - asking information from the sponsor

The Home Office will contact the sponsor to ask the specific information required. It's difficult to say what sort of information they need. You need to wait for the outcome. It's not very common for UKVI to interview migrant workers when they apply for a Skilled Worker visa in the UK. However ...

The ILR application can be submitted well before 14/10/2020 + 5 years - 28 days, you only need to ensure that a decision is made on or after that date. E.g. you can submit the ILR application next month and then book biometrics on a date so that the decision is made on 14/10/2020 + 5 years - 28 days ...

Before 22 July 2025, the rules in place under the Skilled Worker route remain the same. I think the situation depicted here has little to do with immigration but with internal company procedures.
