The way I read this wording, there seems to be no issue for this case. Because even if the first month's payslip covers only 15 days of the employment, it is still possible to check that full year's salary satisfies the salary requirement. One just needs to multiply the amount by 24 rather than 12 ...
Seems like the issue is resolved. Just telling the community know in case someone else in a similar situation. You need the consignment number which can be found in the email where UKVI confirms that the BRP is on the way. Call TNT and ask them to change the delivery address. TNT will confirm the ...
An ILR applicant who has recently started a new job is applying for ILR. There has been only one payslip issued so far and it is for about 15 days of employment, since the employment started mid-month.
Question: is such payslip acceptable for the ILR application?
It turns out TNT handles all the BRP courier deliveries. We spoke to them and the plan is to contact them again once we receive the delivery tracking/reference number and change the delivery address.
Has anyone been through this stage? Does this make sense?
Your brp card doesn't come via royal mail. The courier will only deliver it to the address ukvi has on their system from your application. If you are not at the address, they usually return the brp card to ukvi. Approvals letters are not sent out these days. It is by email. Buy it is not the ...
My decesion letter was sent through email. I am in the same boat .I change address before decesion was made and still waiting for my BRP and I don't know where they will send it .I don't have any reference number to track the BRP but I think the only think to do is wait .I got my decision two days ...
Hello, A follow-up question on this. An applicant has submitted the documents through DVI APP on Aug 31st and has moved homes during the first week of September. On Sep 12 she submitted the "Change of circumstances" which says that the data will be processed within three working days. This creates a ...
Hello, A follow-up question on this topic. The person has applied for Tier 2 visa with a new employer. As per COVID related guidance, she can start working while waiting for the visa but the employer prefers to wait till the visa is issued. She has an opportunity to do freelance jobs through an ...
Does this mean she is safe if she applies for the new visa after she receives the curtailment letter (within 60 days, of course)? I just read somewhere that "Applicants are permitted to submit their extension application up to 60 days before the current visa is due to expire". These are TWO ...

Hi all, My friend has been made redundant a few months ago. She has not yet received a curtailment letter. She has found a new job and already received the UCOS. This means she is ready to apply for Tier 2 visa. However she is faced with a dillemma - either to wait for Priority Service to re-open or ...
She also found some remote temp/freelance jobs where she can make money while she's waiting for the new visa. These freelance jobs are found through a non-UK agency and will be paid by that agency. Question: Does she have right to take those freelance jobs and get paid into her UK bank account? No ...
Hi all, This question somewhat touches tax as well, but maybe someone has come across such case before. A woman has lived in the UK on T2 General for 4+ years but has recently been made redundant. She has found a new employer who agreed to sponsor but that takes time. She has not received a ...
a follow-up question: once she switches to a spouse visa can she later go back to Tier 2 and "continue" her 5 years on Tier 2 to ILR path? No. Her clock resets to zero each time she changes visa categories for ILR based on 5 years residence. Or all those 4 years+ that she had spent on Tier 2 ...
Hopefully she has not left her job already, because she will also need a letter from the employer stating that they intend to employ her for the foreseeable future, at the end of the five years of the Tier 2 General visa. If she switches to a spousal visa, her clock is reset to zero. The general ...
If she switches to a spouse visa and finds a job with salary above threshold (£38k), would that make her eligible to continue on the 5 year Tier 2 ILR track No. She needs to be employed by a tier 2 sponsoring employer to be qualify for ilr based on 5 years tier 2. She cannot combine tier 2 time and ...

Hi all, I have a personal situation and would appreciate any advice. Tier 2 general holder has spent 4 years and 11 months in the UK before leaving her job. She is married to an ILR holder. The goal is to get her own ILR as soon as possible. If she switches to a spouse visa and finds a job with ...
