Re: Foreign Birth Registration

I was just starting to get excited; September application… I am realizing folks seem to be getting a specific “documents received” email… I applied late august 2020; mailed my documentation on the first of September. I tracked it into Ireland and got an “application received” email on September 15th ...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

I have been a long time lurker on here but I thought I should make an account for 2 reasons - 1) to explain my own application timeline and 2) to ask for advice for my cousin's application. So for my application: Application Submitted: 30/01/2020 Application Received: 04/03/2020 I never got a ...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

I don;t think this is anything to be concerned with. I can't say with 100% certainty that I received an email days after my actual documents were physically received by the office. However, common sense tells me it would take a few days if not a week for it to be gathered, registered, and then ...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

I feel like this must have been covered by someone already but why is February going so slowly? Was there a massive surge of applicants in February 2020? What are everyones theories? Combination of Brexit kicking in and pre-Covid timing. I saw a 14th Feb get processed. Someone above Dalton ...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Hi, I completed my online application at the end of Jan 2020 and sent my docs to Dublin at the beginning of Feb, so I should be getting close to hearing from them. I will be going on a remote itinerary for a month starting at the end of April with email access once a week at best. When one receives ...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Has anyone had a long gap between submitting their application fee and submitting their documents? I’m just wondering if I should expect to wait from the date of my application or the date the documents were received. Clearly it doesn’t matter either way, they’ll get to it when they get to it, but I ...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Today marks 500 days since the FBR received my application in their offices. Our applications were received by FBR on the same date. Mine app was submitted on Sept 25, 2020, and email confirmation of documents received was Oct 7, 2020. Looks like we should be on the same timeline. Best of luck!! :D

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Today marks 500 days since the FBR received my application in their offices. Hang in there friend. It's a long process. I'd suggest putting it out of your mind until the end of the year. Good news is things seem to be moving now after so long stalled. Little over 2 years seems to be standard at the ...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Is it wishful thinking or do other people agree it does seem to be speeding up again? So close to the 2020 applications now! Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Has anyone heard ANYTHING about when the FBR offices are to open? Anything at all? Ideally with some sources posted.
