it seems odd that my wife should have to get a residence card stamp to prove a status she ca already prove with her existing passport with ILR and our marriage certificate. But they are not proving the same. The RC documents the status under EEA regulations.[/quote] thanks for clearing that up ...

thanks very much 86ti so, just to confirm , my wife should apply to get a residence card/stamp IN ADDITION to her ILR stamp which is already there? has anyone on this forum experience of doing that? I have seen other threads where non eu nationals have just taken their passport with the ILR stamp ...

Thanks for your helpful replies this is a case of poor attendance on the course. she did not formally give it up. My view would be that this is not a breach of her visa. she has not worked in excess of 20 hrs per week and she has not overstayed - her student visa hasnt expired yet and we already ...
