Re: EUSS pre-settled application

Sorry when I wrote my first reply I didn't realize you have been absent from Jan 2020 to April 2021, so I said it shouldn't be a problem and wrote how you could provide evidence from June 2020 to December 2020. I wouldn't disappoint you, but you may need to be very careful with this issue as they ...

Re: EUSS pre-settled application

As you have been absent from UK for more than 12 months in a row, you have to be very careful when justifying your absence. Since it's longer than 12 months, you can only justify it by proving you were prevented to come back to UK within 12 months from January 2020, and you can't say it's your ...

Re: EUSS pre-settled application

Your children's status shouldn't be affected if their parents didn't apply for them on time, and they still have right to apply by themselves after the deadline. It's one of the listed reasonable grounds to miss the deadline for children.

Re: EUSS pre-settled application

I think you should provide: 1. Any proof to show you were UK resident between 01/06/2020 and 31/12/2020. This can be any physical transaction in UK, i.e. you used your credit card/debit card to pay at a a UK restaurant/train stations/taxi/bus... It doesn't matter if that's a UK card or foreign card ...

Re: What evidence for settled status (retained rights)?

Does your ex-spouse want to apply for settled status? If yes, she may have other evidence to show her residence in UK, and you may also have alternative evidence to prove yours, which can be another proof to show both of you have lived in UK for more than 1 year during your more than 3 year marriage ...

Re: Settled status – Continuous residence

If her explanation of the long absence has been accepted as an important reason, then that period will be regarded as residence in UK and should be disregarded when counting the absence. So all you need to do is to make sure: 1. Her long absence must be accepted as absence for an important reason. 2 ...

Re: Applied For Settled Status But Had To Leave UK - Politely Requesting Advice

If you have already completed your 5 years residence in UK and is already qualified for settled status. Theoretically, you can come back to UK before your PSS expires and make a settled-status application in UK before the expiration date of your PSS. But you need to be 100% sure that you've got ...

Re: Can I apply for settled status?

I think the important issue you should sort out is: During your first marriage from 2013 to 2018, did you and your first spouse both have lived in UK for more than 5 years? If yes, I think you can perhaps try to apply for a settled status based on your first marriage. You may need to prove: the date ...

Re: EU Pre Settlement Application

Did you show them any other evidence in your application? Did they explain why you must show your bank statement? Did they explain why your bank statement is not sufficient to prove your residence? As you only applied for pre-settled status and you applied before the deadline, I understand 1 single ...
