Re: B1 english after ILR on skilled worker visa route

I had already answered your query.

You can tick the box that you proved English language at ILR and provide details of the exam and visa application.

Re: Citizenship for child born in Uk but living abroad

Consider that if you apply from abroad the application may well take over 6 months. Also, if you are planning to enrol your child in a British university, I believe they will need to live in the UK for at least two years prior to enrolling, so best to check ahead of making any future plans.

Their details are irrelevant and have no bearing on your application. Please, do yourself a favour and stop listening to friends etc. The official guidance is clear ...

So he didn't cause serious harm? that is quite important to understand.

I would recommend to wait for another year without further offences and take a driving course and/or do some volunteering in the community to show the change in character.

Re: Proof of living in the UK for naturalisation

Did you ask for all your data at border control?

In any case, we are now in September - when did you start work in 2020? Get your employer(s) to write letters to confirm your employment dates, and/or send all P60s in the last 5 years, and you will be ok.

Can you elaborate on why he got the driving ban? and how many offences exactly did he commit in the last year? It is possibly for the best to get your dad to take some safe driving course or to do something that shows he understands his mistake and won't do it again. I would advise that he waits for ...

Based on the guidance I quoted above, to have a chance you would need to wait until you have been at least 9 months on ILR.

Re: Regarding Early British Citizenship Application

@secret.simon, Thank you for your reply! My ILR Year 1 will end in about 7 months, so I don’t meet the 12-month requirement just yet. I do meet all the other conditions though. Honestly, I’m a bit lost at this point. Any idea? @Thomas25, when does your 1 year from ILR end? Do you meet all other req ...

Thank you! I have a few more questions I'd like some help with please. 1. Do you have a biometric residence permit (BRP)? Should I say "no" here since I never received a BRP when I got ILR due to them moving to eVisa? I technically do have my BRP from the FLR M extension that expired 31st December ...

Include all visa applications that led to settlement (not visitor visas) even ones who failed. All the info is only if known so don't worry too much if you don't have all the details.

It will likely be OK. the first day for you to be eligible would have been the 5/9 anyway.

If you decide not to apply for another visa, it is strongly recommended you get private health insurance for your child, as they won't be eligible to use most NHS services for free.

Re: Does the referee need to be living in the U.K.

Thanks for all the help so far. I have a few more questions and would appreciate some advice. 1. I forgot to mention one trip outside the U.K. after submitting the application, and have disclosed it in a cover letter. Would this be enough? This trip was disclosed in my previous ILR application. Yes ...

Re: Document checklist

Because overstaying in the last 10 years is ignored only if there are no other concerns over good character, if other offences are present it is more likely the application may be refused.

Re: Document checklist

Did you say there are motoring offences? Overstaying is ignored if there aren't any other concerns on good character. You are very close to the 10 year limit after which overstaying gets ignored for good. Have you submitted already? If not, I would suggest waiting for a few months.
