Re: ILR Eligiblity Date

Thank you so much for your response. In such case I am eligible to from on 22 July 2025. My current COS is valid till 30 July 2025. Is it required to extend my COS till I get ILR decision if the application extends the same terms and conditions as of the previous visa?

ILR Eligiblity Date

Hi All, I know its too early but wanted to know in advance. I switched from ICT dependent to Tier 2(now PBS) during covid time in the year 2020. Re: Skilled worker extension application form

Also just realized I paid only less than £500 for my dependent partner and dependent child as IHS fees for a 2-year extension. Not sure on which basis it was calculated. What will happen to my application? Will they reject or send a payment link alone for the remaining IHS? Or do I need to withdraw ...

Re: Skilled worker extension application form

I used the same link and applied and submitted. It didn't showed me as extension too. Is that correct? Or did I submitted wrongly? Does extension have some other link? https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/extend-your-visa Even I don't had any specific option to extend my partner and child and I ...

Re: Urgent - Undefined COS allocation timelines

1. Can I use the same COS and process it from my Home country for a Visa extension if I travel back to my home country and wait for the COS? Will there be any challenge? Yes, but only if the employer has a Defined CoS to assign to you. 2. Will there be any change in the ILR clock in the above case ...

Re: Urgent - Undefined COS allocation timelines

Hi CR001/Others,

Could anyone clarify whether the priority is totally different request or it is something on top of the existing request sent by mentioning the normal request date in the priority request form? Kindly help me with this so that I will ask my employer to give it a try tomorrow morning

Re: Urgent - Undefined COS allocation timelines

One more urgent clarification. As my employer applied for cos increase in normal way before 3 weeks to increase COS allication, if they need to go for priority, do they need to cancel the previous request and send mail for priority at 9? I am worried because priority service is based on luck and if ...

Re: Urgent - Undefined COS allocation timelines

What will be the impact if I didn't get COS before expiry? If your visa expires, you become an overstayer. Am I allowed to work while I am waiting for COS? No, you are not permitted to work once your visa expires if you have not made and paid for an online application. Also am I allowed to stay in ...

Re: Urgent - Undefined COS allocation timelines

As far as I know, there is no need for a new CoS for an extension. You are assigned a CoS once This is not correct. The OP needs a new CoS from the sponsor for a visa extension. The original CoS would have only been issued and assigned for a fix period. Shortly before that period ends, a new CoS ...

My PBS visa is going to expire on Aug 14 2023 and is due for an extension. My employer has applied for an increase in Undefined COS allocation 2 weeks before but still not got it. Re: PBS Visa Extension Query

Sorry for that. Am I restricted to travel before a decision under any circumstances? Is there a way I request the embassy or home office for some unavoidable circumstances after my application? I am asking just to check on the possibilities :(

PBS Visa Extension Query

My Tier 2( currently pbs) visa is going to expire in another 83 days. I am about to receive COS for an extension. How early I can submit the pbs extension visa application? Do I need to wait for 60 days before the current visa expiry?

Re: COS period advice for PBS extension

Sure my first option is to ask 3 year COS. In that case do I also need to wait till 3 years to apply for ILR since I have visa valid for 3 years or will there be any challenge if I apply in 2 year itself when I become eligible even though I have 1 year valid visa remaining?

Thanks again. Since all of us have the same expiry date, Can they apply at the same time while I apply ILR as ILR dependents or do they need to wait till my ILR is success?

Re: COS period advice for PBS extension

Thanks a lot for your response. Also they just need ...

COS period advice for PBS extension

I got COS with 3 years of validity in 2020. It's due to expire. My partner and child joined me 1 year later and they hold a dependent visa since 2021. If I get a 2 year COS for extension I will be eligible for ILR in 2025 but my partner won't be eligible until 2026. Shall I ask my employer to ...
