Re: Fee waiver for children ILR application

Is it possible to apply for a fee waiver for my children ILR application? There is no fee waiver available for the skilled worker and dependent route. To add to the comments already made above, there is no fee waiver at all for any form of ILR application. Fee waivers only apply to certain specific ...

Re: Fee waiver for children ILR application

There is no fee waiver available for the skilled worker and dependent route. You becoming British doesn't change this. When do their visas expire? Hi Their skilled workder dependent visa ends by the end of 2027 (after two years). At some point, Mum and Dad will probably be British citizens (Dad ...

Re: Fee waiver for adult British Citizenship application

There is no fee waiver option for naturalisation applications. Naturalisation is an entirely voluntary application (i.e. by that time the applicant already has ILR and their right to reside in the UK is unaffected by the naturalisation application) and there is no time limit by which is it must be ...

Re: ILR for kids with skilled worker dependent visa

No, they cannot get ILR. Children do not have any residence requirement for ILR and they settle when both parents settle. They will strictly follow the immigration path of the less privileged parent and will settle with that parent. The father becoming British changes nothing. Thanks for your ...

MN1 form, how to receive the certificate

Hi

I have applied to register my son (under 18) as a British citizen (MN1).
I am aware that I will directly receive the certificate via post. No ceremony required.
Is it tracked mail? via ParcelForce or DPD (with ID verification when receiving the certificate)? Or untracked Royal Mail?
thanks

Re: Child benefits for kids on dependent visa when main applicant has ILR

If a the child is subject to immigration control (ie - no recourse to public funds restriction) you claiming benefits due to their presence may breach their immigration restrictions. However, I’ve never seen a case in practice where this has been an issue for a child. It’s a choice you have to make ...

Hi

Main applicant has ILR, based on skilled worker visa.
Kids are still on skilled worker dependent visa, and are not eligible for the ILR yet.

Can the main applicant, who has ILR, apply for child benefits for kids with skilled worker dependent visa?

Thanks

Related means "by blood or marriage" - friends, colleagues, etc are fine.
In my case I had two referees, same company, both colleagues working with me and each other.
I see, that make sense. Thank you very much for your great help.
Best regards

There is no point in asking the same question again. Moderators read the forum every day, if we know the answer we offer it.
