Re: Next Irish Citizenship ceremony date?

You absolutely should. Even if the ceremony was on June 1, you would get your certificate not earlier than July 1 (likely later), and if you rush the same day to apply for the passport, it will take another month realistically. So you won't get your Irish passport earlier than in August anyway ...

Re: Online Irish citizenship - no acknowledgement email after submitting application

Similar issue. Applied for two minors last Monday, with a difference of like 10 minutes in submission time. I received the acknowledgment email/number for one application within an hour, but it's already a week since I'm waiting for the second one. Any hints at what to do? Thanks!

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023/4

May I ask if invitations come exclusively over email, or we should monitor the letterbox too? Also, did anyone from Dublin receive an invitation? Thanks!

Re: Approval letter 04/10/2024

I personally know someone who was supposed to receive it today (all vettings done long ago) but didn’t. So you are not alone. And I also know someone who was supposed to receive the letter in July (previous batch) but only got it today. So chances are you’ll receive it with the next batch. Lastly, th ...

Name spelling <> Naturalization Certificate

Hi all, my question is the same as discussed in this closed thread , but I hope someone can share a bit more experience. In short: 1. My name (as per the birth certificate) is spelled in Cyrillic letters; 2. My current passport transliterates my name into Latin alphabet in a way that's not very ...

Re: I never received a physical letter?

They attach a PDF to an email with e-vetting invitation. That PDF contains the number you are looking for.

Investigation by Garda: what is the definition?

Hi all, I stumbled upon this question in the Naturalization application form: Are you, or have you been, the subject of an investigation in Ireland by AN GARDA SÍOCHÁNA (Irish Police), including where you were not charged with any offence? There was a minor road accident (slight bump on a traffic l ...

Re: RTB letter for naturalisation

Thank you so much for clarifying! It’s accepted for 50 type B points for the year of issue. The issue is that the tenancy lasted for a few years, so if I hear you right, the RTB letter will only cover the first year. Is there any way to prove that letter was still relevant for other years of tenancy? ...

RTB letter for naturalisation

Hi everyone, apologies if this was discussed earlier, but does anyone know how should the RTB letter look like to satisfy proof of residency requirements for naturalisation? I requested letters for each year of tenancy from RTB, and what they’ve issued is the same document I’ve received by post at th ...
