You will need to find evidence. The reason this is asked for, is to determine and verify that you have NOT been absent for 2 or more years and therefore possibly lost your ILR status. And yes, UKVI do check this rigorously due to ILR holders using ILR as a 'visa' to just pop in and out of the UK ...

There is no specific requirement, provide whatever you have. However, I suggest not applying for BRP unless you need to travel soon. BRPs are being replaced with eVisas and by this summer everyone can get a digital status eVisa rather than BRP. Please read the topics pinned to the top of the forum ...

Note that physical B R P s will be extinct from next year as they are moving to digital status only. Moreover, they cannot even be used for employment nor accommodation purposes now. Why not naturalise instead? Thanks Vinny. I need to prove my right to work here. So how do I do this in the meantime ...
