I was in same situation last year. my wife didnt finished two year to qualify for ILR so what I did is took permier service and got ILR for myself and then applied by post for my wife and she got another two year visa.

Hello everyone,

My baby born last month and I have indefinite stay here in UK ? I am about to apply for British passport but one of friend was telling me to have naturalisation for baby. is that true? if yes, how to apply for that ?

Thanks for reply and moving post to relevant thread. I agreed that I cant apply baby OCI until I will get which likely end of this year (2012).

What I was confused about, is it hard to get OCI via british passport? if not what documents roughly needed for it.

I have spoke to one of agent and he said that I can't stay more then 90 days at one go but he didn't mention anything about 180 days in five year. I am bit confused now. Does any one know any policy mentioned in document listed in border security website.

Hiya,

I wonder how long one can stay out side on HSMP visa. I mean maximum stay in term of whole five year.

I am been out around 120 day already and planning for another?
