English proof for ILR application through GTV

Hi, I'm applying ILR through GTV 3 years route, I haven't proved my English when I applied for the GTV. All my "degrees" (i.e., Bachelor, Master, PhD) are NOT taught or researched in English. But I have obtained a PgCert issued by Advance Higher Education from a UK university. This is what said in ...

Re: Dependent extension question

Unsure what you mean with initial and new rate. Any IHS refund will be given based on the overlapping period as you rightly pointed out, considering the initial application (the money paid in that initial application). The same guidance you cited explains that - with an example. Once the ...

Re: Dependent extension question

It appears that overlapping IHS payments can be refunded if the remaining time on the initial visa exceeds 6 months, as outlined in this guidance: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/immigration-health-surcharge-caseworker-guidance/immigration-health-surcharge-caseworker-guidance-accessible ...

Re: 180 days absence from the beginning acceptable?

Thank you so much for your patience and explaination, it's perfect clear now. Wonderful, 90 working days can cover the 4 month gap easy as pie. So I apply extension and wait for nearly 45 working days and shift to IRL application directly (I presume I cannot cancel the extension and apply for IRL ...

Re: ILR Application for Tier 2 Dependent Visa Applicants with 89 days shortage for 5 years

Have you been successful for your dependants' IRL in which you applied the Biometric delay for twice?

Re: Dependent extension question

The lead applicant is eligible to apply for ILR via the 3-year route, while dependants must complete 5 years. The dependants currently have a 4-month gap to meet the 5-year residence requirement. One option is for the lead applicant to wait and apply for a 1-year extension for all dependants to fill ...

Re: 180 days absence from the beginning acceptable?

Hi Zimba, Thank you for your reply. I’ve reviewed that post, and it seems optimistic. I have one more question to assess the potential risks in my case. I have a 4-month gap (120 days). My first visa vignette was issued on 30/01/2022 and expires on 30/09/2026. The first eligible date for ILR would b ...

Dependent extension question

True or false: The extension for dependants can only be applied at times that are 1. the main applicant is applying for GTV extension; 2. the main applicant is applying for ILR; 3. the main applicant has got the ILR. For case 1, the applicant has 1-5 years options to choose and same for dependants ...

180 days absence from the beginning acceptable?

Need advice on my case: My husband applied for his GTV for five years, and it was issued as a five-year visa. My children and I applied as dependants four months later, and our visas have the same expiration date, giving us a duration of 4 years and 8 months. The delay was due to lockdowns in ...
