So if I ask employer to give just one letter mentioning:
- Employment details
- Continuity of service
- And one line such as : All absences, including personal and work related, were approved.

should be enough right?

what do you mean by unauthorized? so your company did not know you were out of country? yes, I think it was common practice to add some WFH days to your annual leave so you can be with family, but after covid policy was changed to not allow any WFH as few emps got stuck for longer durations etc I ...
