So the best and cost saving is I go for GT extension now to get full 5 years ( till Aug 2029) and then in September 2025, I extend my family visas as GT dependent for 3 years ( till Sept 2028).

Ok. What I understood is I can not choose the length of GT dependent visa.. I have to apply for whatever time is left in my visa whether I like it or not. Right?
