May be my post was misleading. When applying in UK, there is no fee for dependants if they apply together with the main applicant. Probably, for external applications the conditions are different. I thought it is the same.

The price is the same if you apply alone or with family. On the contrary, if your family apply without you, each of them will need to pay a few.

Did anybody claimed the points with diploma from USSR? In the point-based calculator, there are no names of particular institutions for USSR, just the generic names like "College/Institute of Higher education". Did you put the actual name of the institute in your application, or such a generic name ...
