Moving from T1 (General) to Unmarried Partner Visa

Hi everyone, I used this site a few years ago when I was applying for T1, and I'm back looking for help. I'm currently on the T1 visa that expires in less than 6 months. Rather than applying for an extension, I'm considering applying for Unmarried Partner Visa. Is it allowed to move from T1 to ...

Thank you for your response.

I am thinking along the same lines as you, and that Feb 11 would do no harm, but likely Feb 10 would be acceptable.

Maintenance Fund Clarification

Hello, I am wondering if anyone could please help me to clarify the 3 month time period required for maintenance funds. I have had at least £2800 in my account starting on November 11, 2008. I plan to apply for T1 on February 12. The evidence that I plan to submit is bank statements. My question is ...

Previous Earnings/Bank Statement Query

Hello Everyone, I have a question about proving my previous 12 months earnings through personal bank statements. My first pay was deposited into my boyfriends account as my bank account application was still being processed, and my remaining 11 pays have been paid into my personal bank account. Has ...

£2800. UK bank account or Canadian?

Hello again,

Is it ok for my £2800 to be in a UK account, even though I'm applying from Canada? Sounds like a silly question, but I'm just looking for clarification on this.

Again, thanks for all the help in my other threads.

Proving Earnings paid into 3 accounts

Hi Everyone, I have a question about proving my previous 12 months earnings through my bank statements. I understand that I am required to submit two different sources of documents to evidence my earnings over the past 12 months. I have all 12 months of payslips; however, over the 12 month period my ...

I'm surprised to hear that the post will still need to be re-advertised with applying for the Tier 1 visa as it seems to go against everything that I have been informed thus far. Do you have a link where this is indicated?
Thanks, Jenn

Applying from Canada

Just wondering if anyone on here has ever applied in Canada through the Toronto Visa Application Centre and the Ottawa High Commission for Tier 1? It looks like I will be applying through this route. What were your experiences? Any issues with processing times? When I dealt with these offices for my ...

Hi Everyone, looking for some help from everyone. I am currently in the UK under the Working Holiday Maker Visa. I received this late January 08 and have been working since Feb. I work with the NHS and I will be finishing work in Feb 09, due to the 12 month restriction regarding work under the WHM ...

Everything was sent to his parents address, as we were back and forth between places so frequently it was just as easy to have the mail continue to be sent there. From March 08 to now, we have dozens of documents. When in Canada, he only has payslips from two companies for the correct time period at ...

Hi All! Thanks for reading my post! I'm looking for help with the Unmarried partner application. A bit of back ground first. I'm currently living in the UK with my partner of 9 years, who holds a UK passport. I'm working with the NHS as an Occupational Therapist on a Working Holiday Maker visa. I ...
