Re: Travelling post-ILR

I just checked with him - he was naturalised in October 2015. He is not aware of the rule changes. Will he need to surrender his ILR card?

Do you know the answer to my questions? Can he still travel back in the country on a non-UK passport and what additional documents will he need?

Travelling post-ILR

Travelling as visitor to the UK

Hi forum members, I have a question. I have a mother-in-law who would like to visit my wife and I in the UK. We are both here on Tier 1 Visas. My wife misses her mother-in-law and would like her to come and stay with us for a while. We are from a non-EU commonwealth country in South-East Asia ...

Switching from WHM into Tier 1 Dependent visa category

Dear all, My girlfriend/fiance is currently here in London on a Working Holiday Maker visa. I am here on a Tier 1 Visa. I know that the Home Office is strict about switching from WHM category into other visa categories. Do any of you foresee any problems that would affect her switching from the WHM ...

Starting business

Dear all,
I am currently on a Tier 1 Visa (General), and am working at the moment.

My question is: does a Tier 1 Visa (General) allow me to start my own business, and will I be able to employ workers just like how any other business can expand their enterprise and hire workers too?

Thank you.

Template for Bank to Prove Maintenance Funds Met

Dear all, As my maintenance funds are in an account for which statements are issued on a quarterly or infrequent basis, as it is a savings/ISA account, I am in a situation whereby I can't produce original statements to prove my maintenance funds requirement. Does anyone here have a template which I ...
