My question is as in the subject. Would an EEA citizen need to apply for a permanent status card after 5yrs residence before being eligible to apply for British citizenship. Finally is an EEA citizen eligible to apply for citizenship after 5 years or after 5 yrs + 1 year of permanent residence ...
