Karthik, Why you want to apply in this manner , there will be too much cost will be involve , 1) first you apply for Indian Passport then apply for ILR visa 2) Apply for UK Citizenship with you which is also not free and then apply for Dual visa .. what is point ? I think you should apply UK ...

as she may switch to FLR(M) and subsequently SET(M). however you have to pay 2 visa cost .. or she can go to home country - which means travel cost and visa cost in your home country .. but then she can apply with your ILR visa application which means very minor cost for her ILR visa .. thanks Got ...

Hi Roobaru, As per as my understanding you can not apply with your ILR visa on her current visa status however she and your child can apply for dependent visa first and all of you can apply ILR visa. Please note that you can not change your wife and child visa from UK .. she has to get entry ...

thanks vinny, as per requirement been present in the UK five years before the date of your application does not mean that applicant need to be there in this country on specific visa category or any visa category should be fine ?
