i dont exactly know the belarussian procedure, but the easiest way would be to change her name with a deed poll and then get a new passport made in new name. you should contact the belarus embassy about their correct procedure. I am a UK national, my wife is from Belarus and is resident in the UK on a 2 year spouse visa which is due to expire in mid January 2010.
