Citizenship for birth abroad?

I am American & my husband is British. Our 1st child was born in the UK & has dual citizenship. Our 2nd child was born in the US. Is our 2nd child able to be a British citizen as well? I've looked at the UKBA website & it's just confusing. There's always a possibility that we may return to the UK ...

Does ILR ever expire?

I married a UK citizen in 2002 & we lived there until 2005. We've been in the US ever since. I was granted ILR in 2003. If we were ever to return to the UK, would I need to reapply or is it really indefinite? My understanding was that as long as I was not out of the country for more than 2 years ...
