what i meant is that when i got my idefinite i never had a passport so they send on A4 paper , so im asking now do i have to transfere it to my new passport which i have now, or i can travel with it like that

WHAT I MEANT IS THAT, I HAVE INDEFITE LEAVE TO REMAIN IN MY CONGOLESE PASSPORT, BUT MY MUM AND BROTHER AND SISTER ARE BRITISH. how long does the visa valid for?? Usually three months. is it multy entries????? Pot luck. If lucky you might get a two year multi entry (still subject to 90 days in 180 rule) but if it's a first app u'd be very fortunate to get that. Worst case would be single entry for duration of booked holiday ...
