Thanks for this valuable info. Does this mean my initial almost 2 years of stay in UK (thru Work visa) will not be counted as a part of my 5 years, when i apply for permanent or probationary citizenship?

Hi I need some guidance on this. I am a working resident in UK since Sept 10th 2006. I am currently holding a Tier 1 visa. In sept 2011, I shall have completed 5 years of stay here in UK. Would i be eligible to apply for a PR then or will the new rules affect me? If it would affect me, then when ...
