i had applied for PR at canada and opt to Toronto in Ontario. I wish to know can anyone go to other province in search of work. please advice.

Someone has told me that Authorised Immigration Lawyers can seek the processing status of their client by knowing the remarks made by the visa officer on their PR file time to time. Thus they can evaluate of processing time remaining for the finalazation. Is this true? Moderators Please help.
