Many thanks Guru and apologies for posting in wrong forum. There was no issue with my application at all and delay was just due to UKBA inefficiencies.

Thanks,

Money out and acknowledgement letter

Many congrats to those who've had successful applications and patience is key to those still waiting. I have a quick question. Does HO only sent acknowledgement letter after fee transaction has gone through or do they acknowledge soon as they receive the documents? I recently sent my docs for the 10 ...

SET(O) Biometric Registration question

Hey Guys! Just a quick question. I'm due to apply on a 10 year long residence ILR route in September 2012. I have just been looking at the form and there is a section which asks "1. Many thanks Vinny for your informative response! Do I need to send any documents to support my application( e.g. payslips) apart from the obvious ones? The guidance notes doesn't mention any specific documents.

Regards,

Is there any funds requirements?, and if YES then how much money should I hold in my account and for how long. I've looked at the SET(O) guidance notes and there seems no ...

Council tax rules vary from borough to borough. Council tax can be a benefit i.e. If you go to your local authority and make a council tax benefit claim. Other councils offer a council tax exemptions to full time students, if this is the case then it's NOT considered a benefit.

Yes, you can include your wife and or son's statements to cover the days you're short as long as they're included in the application. And make sure you enclose a covering letter.

That should work!

p/s who told you Oct/Nov is peak period. Processing times that appear on ukba appears almost accurate unless there's is some other complication with one's application.

My visa expired on the 5th of September and I posted my application on the 4th of September. My application was valid and I got my visa. They take the post mark date as your date of application i.e my date of application according to ukba was 4 Sept.

Using multiple statements appears acceptabe. I'm sayin' this because I was in the same situation as was a few friends of mine. As long as there's proof that you had the required funds every single day of the required period, that's all that matters. As in my case I was short with about £40 over 2 ...

As far as I'm aware it's okay to show funds held in multiple accounts. I've a case of a friend who used 6 different account statements including overseas as maintenance proof and still got their visa. Therefore you needn't worry.

All the best!
