Well.. Thanks for all the replies, really appreciate that. I can't possess dual nationality and I'll have to surrender my existing, however, as my wife is non-eea, I feel that British citizenship route is better to go for. Besides, after my PR, my future children will be British anyways so I don't ...

Thanks. However, in EEA3 application form, there is no category of Qualified person to be ticked. The only options are - Employment - self employment - study - economic self sufficiency - retired - permanent incapacity If I tick "self sufficiency" when I was job seeking, I doubt that they'll demand ...

EEA3-Time spent studying, job seeking-Comp medical insurance

Hi Everyone While filling EEA3 application, I am confused on a couple of things, listed below, to which I would appreciate opinions: - Which box should I tick when I was searching for job. "Employment" box or "self sufficient" box. In 2006, I was searching for 4 months, then in 2009 I was job ...

Will I be needing to send any documentation related to JSA as well?

What if PR gets refused, do you have right to appeal or could you reapply again at later stages?

EEA3 (PR): Are Treaty rights affected by JSA

Guys, a general question: During 5 years of your continuous stay, if you have taken income-based job seeker allowance for around 4 months because of redundancy, how should you mention that period of 4 months in your EEA3 application and would that have any impact on getting PR? I believe that as an ...

@JAJ, yup I realize that my Norwegian nationality would be revoked. So, if I'll get a PR now (I have been living since 5 years in UK), I will not need to send P60's etc., again at the time of applying for British citizenship but my PR doc would be sufficient, am I right? However, if I apply for ...

Guys, thank you all for the responses. I have another query in relation to my earlier question. Is there any benefit of applying for PR after 5 years? Can't I apply direct for british citizenship after 6 years? I think the only difference is that if you get PR document after 5 years, then you don't ...

@Guerro, it is a new information for me, thanks for that. @Plum70, appreicate the details and the options. One query though, my understanding is that I will not have to take Life in a UK test as I am an EEA national and presumably there's a difference in going for british nationality after getting ...
