Referee Quick Question

Dear Seniors,

About the referee.
I have just confirmed with my GP about the referee, They do it for 70 pounds. and only a doctor will sign it not a nurse. Are doctors eligible as referee? I was reading it has to be only nurse.

Please if anyone can confirm

Many thanks.
