Which COP

So far two things seem to be clear- the first is that you must be earning at least what you were as per your WP. The second is your salary should now be as per COP. But which COP? Further changes in the near future?

Hi
What about the proposed consultation to be brought in later in the year? Do you think the link between work permit and settlement will be removed permanently thus people will no longer be entitled to settlement? If so when do you think will this come into effect from? Thanks.

Different levels of salary

Hi Sage Thanks for your response. According to the COP, there are are various ranges for my profession, accountancy. For example, ACCA finalist, fully qualified, experienced post qualification etc. I was a finalist then, but have now become fully qualified recently. Does it mean I have to have the ...

ILR after Apr 2011- Salary question

Hi I am on a work permit and will apply for ILR in Dec this year. From April, it seems income criteria will need to be met for ILR. Currently my salary is about 2.5k above what it was when I got my WP. Is there a new threshold that I have to meet or is it okay if my salary is at current level? Any ...
